I played a role in changing the brand names of some online tamil utilities.
- Suggested Tamilkey firefox extension be renamed as Tamilvisai (?????????) – because it is an extension made for tamils by tamils and will be used by tamils. If we don’t name it in Tamil then who else would do so? Besides the literal meaning Tamilkey, ????? ???? can also mean the Tamil Force which is very nice !
- Suggested ?????? ?????? by Mahir – an online tamil poll app be renamed as ?????? ?????? as ?????? denotes only the males.
- Suggested Say VoW! be changed to a Tamil name and Mahir came up with the nice name ????????? – For the same reason why we changed the tamilkey name.
