How to download more than 2 files at a time from same server in firefox?

July 30th, 2007 · No Comments · browsing, tidbits, tips

1. Type about:config in the address bar
2. Search for “network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server” in the filter field.
3. The default number is 2. Change it to anything you like.

Downloading only two files at a time from a server is a web standard. You can also change this in Internet explorer. To know how, see here
